The training involves access to a self-paced online course and a 2-day workshop with Next Gen Men happening in Whitehorse in May, 2024. Participants are asked to do the online course prior to the May weekend.

It is our hope that all participants will take the learnings from the training back to their communities/work/volunteer spaces.

In addition, those that are interested and can make the commitment, can continue to work with us to lead a Boys Group in their community.

This project is being presented by Victoria Faulkner Women's Centre, in partnership with Les EssentiElles and Next Gen Men, with the support of Women and Gender Equality Canada and the Government of Canada.

OBLIGATORY: Participate in both on-line and in-person training at the dates specified (see 'time commitment).

Afterwards, you can consider how you can bring the learnings back to your community (via your job, volunteer roles, as a parent, etc.).

One option is to continue to Host a Next Gen Men Boys Group in your community (with supports) after completing the training.

NOTE: Due to the importance of and demand for the Next Gen Mentor Training, we are now accepting applications from anyone who is interested in the training even if they can't commit to hosting a Boys Group thereafter.
