Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Auto Detailing Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, maintain quality standards, and ensure excellent customer service. The successful candidate will lead the detailing team, coordinate workflow, manage inventory, and support business growth through effective operational management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate daily detailing operations.
  • Supervise, train, mentor, and schedule detailing technicians.
  • Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high service standards.
  • Assign work, monitor productivity, and ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
  • Inspect completed vehicles before customer delivery.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare work schedules and coordinate staffing requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order detailing products, equipment, and shop supplies.
  • Maintain records of inventory, expenses, and operational performance.
  • Prepare estimates, invoices, and service documentation.
  • Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office to maintain reports, schedules, and operational records.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including expense tracking and invoice verification.
  • Develop and implement workplace policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to support business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Support recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and employee performance evaluations.

Qualifications

  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in auto detailing, vehicle cleaning, or a related service industry in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with customer service and team supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and basic computer applications.
  • Basic accounting and inventory management experience is considered an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
