THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to administer and implement Comprehensive Cooperation and Benefit Agreements (CCBA) with partnering mining corporations. The person is the link between the FNNND and mining proponents who will work collaboratively with corporate partnering Liaisons, FNNND Council and department, Citizens, and corporate representatives, as well as pertinent government agencies in assisting the development of social, health, educational, training and economic strategies and methods in implementing comprehensive cooperation and benefit agreements.

THE PERSON

You are comfortable in providing guidance and quality advice to management and the public on employment training and business opportunities within the mining industry and have the ability to resolve conflict situations, problem solve and work co-operatively in a team environment demonstrating leadership and professionalism. You have the motivation in seeking training, education and funding resource agencies for Citizens and FNNND Entrepreneur Businesses in analysing and identify training requirements within the community to derive the maximum benefit from training and employment opportunities with knowledge of FNNND history, culture, language, demographics, goals & aspirations.

QUALIFICATIONS

This person will require Grade 12 or GED Equivalent, with a diploma and/ or certificate in Office Administration and or any relevant training and experience in Career Counselling. Experience in implementing training or employment programs, and /or equivalent in education and experience in environmental or water management in the mining or industrial operations an asset.
