DRIVERS JOB DESCRIPTION
• Responsible for providing our products to customers in a friendly and efficient
manner, with the highest regard for customer service.
• Responsible for interacting with Panago customers and to assist with inquiries,
order taking and meeting customers needs in a polite, friendly and efficient
manner.
Duties And Responsibilities
• Maintain a high degree of personal standards and conduct as verified by the key
Station Observation Checklists including the following;
o Have a thorough knowledge of the delivery area.
o Ensure personal image meets Panago standards.
o Ensure delivery vehicle appearance is clean inside and out and in good
working order.
o Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
o Ensure driver’s kit is up to date and in use throughout the shift.
o Handle the stores dispatch system as per Panago standards.
o Handle cash, credit slips, and coupons as per Panago procedures.
o Have a thorough knowledge of driver security procedures.
o Explain current specials and promotions.
o Answer phones before the second ring.
o Answer telephone inquiries and taking orders (if applicable.)
o Answer inquiries and taking orders at the front counter (if applicable.)
o Correctly take customer orders and delivery information from the customer.
o Processing pick-up orders (if applicable.)
o Explain current specials and promotions.
o Greet and deal with customers as soon as they enter our restaurant.
o Practice proper hygiene and safe food handling standards.
o Other duties may include: preparation and cooking of all menu items, folding
boxes, answering phones, food preparation and dough making, any required
clean-up duties, washing dishes, and any other task required by the
manager.
Performance Expectations
• Achieve 100% performance standards as verified by key Station Observation
Checklists including the following;
o To have a thorough knowledge of the stores delivery routing system within 2
weeks of hiring.
o To become proficient in the stores dispatch system within the probationary
period.
o Have a thorough knowledge of Panago menu within 2 weeks of hiring.
o Have a thorough knowledge of current specials and promotions as they
occur.

o Call out all extras before leaving the store with a delivery.
o Call the Out-The-Door times before leaving the store with a delivery.
o Have a full knowledge of driver’s security procedures within the probationary
period.
o Have a thorough knowledge of payment handling procedures within 2 weeks
of hiring.
• Professional and courteous conduct towards customers and co-workers.
• Be part of the team and demonstrate pride in a job well done.
• Show initiative and self-motivation.
• Display a friendly, efficient, helpful attitude towards customers.
• Obey all traffic laws and drive defensively.
Competencies Required
• Good communication skills and able to speak, understand, and read English.
• Possess customer service skills and team-oriented skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• High level of personal hygiene.
• A good sense of direction.
• Valid drivers licence and applicable insurance.
• Acceptable driving record (i.e. no outstanding fines, no charges related to
driving offences.)
• A quick learner, with good problem solving skills and the ability to memorize
complicated deliveries.
• Be a team player.
• Ability to work in a challenging fast paced environment.
• Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
• Have a strong work ethic.

Flexible Scheduling

Looking for one part time driver during the dinner rush (between 4pm-8pm)

Friday Saturday must be able to work!

about 3 shifts/week (9+hours/week)
