Summary of Position:

The position of the Production Manager is to oversee the production of kettle corn and

caramel corn and manage employees. The production manager should oversee new orders and create production schedules for the week, as well as keep track of inventory.

Principal activities and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production and packaging of kettle corn
  • Maintain accurate records (orders, complaints, maintenance, cleaning)
  • Maintain records of production runs on Recipal
  • Maintain finished product inventory and production schedules
  • Track inventory in Recipal
  • Monitor email and plan for special orders
  • Communicate with Sales Manager and CEO
  • Place orders for raw materials and other inventory
  • Support and communicate with employees effectively
  • Supervise quality control and cleanliness
  • Complete employee onboarding and training records
  • Conduct quarterly employee surveys

Qualifications:

  • Experience using software such as Excel, Canva, Email and Square
  • Good working 6 hour shifts in a physically demanding job
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Works well managing a team
  • Strong organizational skills - good at prioritizing a task list
  • Lift and move heavy loads of up to 50 lb
