Community Relations & Leasing Coordinator

The opportunity

Choosing where to live as you age is a significant decision, and it is rarely just about the suite. It is about independence, community, trust, and feeling confident that you have found the right place.

As the Coordinator, you are often the first relationship someone builds with Normandy. You will connect with prospective residents and families, conduct tours, build relationships in the community, and help guide people from their first questions through to move-in. You will also help tell Normandy’s story through local outreach and day-to-day marketing, building the relationships and visibility that support a vibrant and well-connected community.

What does your success look like?

• Prospective residents and families feel informed, respected, and confident as they consider whether Normandy is right for them.
• A healthy pipeline of prospective residents and referral relationships supports strong occupancy.
• Tours, follow-up, waitlists, and move-ins are organized, responsive, and professionally managed.
• New residents experience a smooth and welcoming transition into the Normandy community.
• Normandy has strong relationships and visibility among seniors, families, community organizations, referral sources, and service providers.
• Day-to-day marketing and outreach authentically reflect resident life and strengthen Normandy’s connection to the community.

What you bring to the role

• Experience in leasing, sales, customer relations, seniors living or a related environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build trust with older adults, families, and community partners.
• A welcoming, professional, and respectful communication style.
• Confidence conducting tours, managing inquiries, following up with prospects, and maintaining relationships over time.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.
• Practical experience with community outreach, marketing, and social media.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information and personal situations.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to attend community events and off-site meetings. Some flexibility in hours may be required to support tours, events, or community engagement.
• Comfort working in a residential seniors’ environment, including regular contact with residents who may have mobility, sensory, or cognitive changes.

Conditions of Employment:

• Satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• CPR and First Aid or willingness to obtain post-hire
