About the Role

Reporting to the Manager - Hydrogeology, the Groundwater Field Technician is responsible for the delivery of groundwater monitoring programs, as well as supporting the implementation of drilling programs.

About the Role

  • Perform fieldwork on hydrogeological field programs including: groundwater sampling, supervision of borehole drilling and monitoring well installation, tracer studies, pumping tests, and packer tests.
  • Provide technical input to projects throughout Ensero.
  • Technical communications of groundwater data, including data analysis and report writing.
  • Ability to operate and maintain specialized field testing and monitoring equipment.
  • Factual and interpretive reporting of field data and site conditions.
  • Interface with other technical experts to achieve multidisciplinary project goals.
  • Monitor and promote environmental health and worker safety.
  • All other related duties as required

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Science with a focus on groundwater
  • 1-3 years of related work experience in consulting or the mining industry, with previous experience in the supervision of drilling programs.
  • Willingness to travel and participate in field programs in remote locations throughout BC and Yukon.
  • Excellent communication and technical report-writing skills.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
