This position provides support and guidance to safety systems management, HR processes, operational tasks, and lodge upkeeping. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Supports the onboarding, orientation and management of benefits for all New Age Drilling workers.

• Assist with booking flights, and updating service plans as needed for in reach devices, star links etc.

• Shop for food, beverages, parts & other purchases.

• Assist in the development and implementation of HR or safety training policies and procedures, ensure implementation and assess compliance.

• Support operations manager in asset management and inventory tracking, sorting, supplying, packaging and freight.

• Perform light custodial duties as necessary to support good housekeeping practices, including vehicle detailing, tidying kitchen and rooms.

• Assist in planning, prepping, and cleaning after meals for up to 10 people.

• Ensure proper storage of all foods and follow WHMIS 2015 for storage of all chemicals and cleaners used.

• Other related duties, as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

• Leadership skills.

• Strong organization and time management skills.

• Basic knowledge and understanding of the Diamond Drilling Industry, willingness to learn more.

• Strong ability to follow directions and work as a team player.

• Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and dependability.

• Strong discretion, handling of confidential information is required.

Qualifications/ Conditions of Employment:

• Must possess a Valid Class 5 driver's license and provide an abstract with NO DUI’S OR AT-FAULT ACCIDENTS.

• Ability to be on-call, and work after regular hours or weekends, as necessary. Frequent travel within Whitehorse and to Yukon communities is often required.

• Strong computer skills and ability to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or show proof of right to work in Canada.
