General Manager

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management and strategic direction of CHON-FM and Northern Native Broadcasting Yukon.

The successful candidate will bring both strong management experience and practical knowledge of the radio broadcasting industry. They will also need to understand the unique environment of a radio station — its programming, people, technology, regulatory responsibilities, revenue opportunities and relationship with its listeners and communities.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team, Yukon First Nations and community partners to strengthen our programming, modernize our operations, grow our audience and revenues, and build a sustainable future for Indigenous radio in the North.
