Yukon Farm Fair - Event Support
Role Overview
Join the Yukon Farm Fair in our day of event support. There will be roles for gate admissions, parking, activity facilitation, and general event sanitation help. We have a map of the grounds, a schedule of events, and opportunities for volunteers to take breaks to enjoy the fair!
Responsibilities
– collecting gate admissions for attendees
– assisting in directing attendees to parking locations
– announcing the shuttle bus departures
– announcing activities about to start
– assisting participants and attendees in locating activities and tables
– general sanitation (monitoring garbage disposals, and replacing garbage bags when necessary)
– event take down ( 5:30 pm)
Experience and Skills
A positive attitude, and willingness to be involved!
Estimated Time Commitment
Estimate time commitment from 10 am – 6pm on Saturday September 5th. Volunteers will be given shift assignments with opportunities for breaks to enjoy the fair. We are happy to accommodate those who only have limited time to support aspects of the event.
Volunteer Recognition or Benefits
Volunteers will be given a food voucher to enjoy the fair food trucks. All volunteers will appear as recognition in our event recap report.
