EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PERMANENT, FULL-TIME
HOURS: 35 HOURS PER WEEK
WAGE: $31.65 CAD PER HOUR
JOB DESCRIPTION
Streamline Architects is seeking an Architectural Design Technologist to join our team in Whitehorse, Yukon.
The successful candidate will assist with the design and technical development of residential, commercial, and institutional architectural projects throughout Yukon.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop architectural concepts and design solutions.
- Prepare architectural drawings and documentation using Revit.
- Produce floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and drawing sets.
- Assist with permit and construction documentation.
- Develop 3D models, architectural visualizations, and presentation materials.
- Review applicable building codes, regulations, and project requirements.
- Coordinate design information and revisions with architects, consultants, clients, and contractors.
- Assist with site documentation, existing-condition surveys, and 3D scanning.
- Prepare and coordinate architectural specifications and project information.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in architectural design and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with Revit and architectural 3D modelling.
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a project team.
