- Loading, unloading, and moving construction materials and equipment.
- Assisting carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled workers.
- Preparing and cleaning construction sites before, during, and after work.
- Operating basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Measuring, cutting, mixing, and preparing materials as instructed.
- Digging trenches, carrying debris, and performing basic excavation work.
- Setting up and taking down scaffolding, ladders, barriers, and temporary structures.
- Helping with concrete, framing, drywall, painting, roofing, and other construction activities.
- Following safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
- Following instructions from supervisors and reporting hazards or damaged equipment.
- Assisting with deliveries and organizing materials on the job site.
