Service Plumber – Northern Plumbing (Whitehorse, YT)
Must reside in Whitehorse full time not a fly in/out position
Northern Plumbing is growing, and we’re looking for a efficient skilled Service Plumber who takes pride in their work and knows how to run service calls professionally.
Pay & Benefits
- Up to $56/hr starting wage (based on experience)
- Double time after 40 hours/week
- Monthly performance bonuses + tips
- Take‑home van option (for those living close to the shop)

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose plumbing issues and provide clear solutions
- Perform repairs, replacements, and new installations
- Jetting, snaking, and drain clearing
- Manage each service call from start to finish
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Keep a clean, organized service van
- Complete job notes and Invoices/paperwork accurately and on time
Requirements
- Journeyman Plumber Red Seal Certification (We will also consider a competent apprentice who’s motivated and ready to secure their ticket as soon as possible)
- Strong plumbing and troubleshooting skills
- Professional, consistent workmanship
- Pride in your craft and attention to detail (quality focused)
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Reliable, self‑motivated, customer‑focused attitude
