The YFNED Nutrition team is seeking an energetic, creative, and community-minded individual to support our School Nutrition Program in Ross River, Yukon. This position plays a key role in promoting student wellness by preparing and delivering nutritious, high-quality meals and snacks for students and youth throughout the school year.

Primary duties include menu planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation, kitchen maintenance & cleanup, collaborating with cooks’ helpers, and supporting school / community events as needed. This position requires the ability to manage one’s own schedule, working closely with school administration and staff to ensure meals are delivered on time and that any allergies or dietary requirements of the children are accommodated.

Position requirements include: Pre-employment acceptable RCMP Security Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Clearance, Food Safe level 1, Ability to work early mornings. Getting to and from the school and grocery store will be the responsibility of the successful candidate. A valid drivers license & personal transportation is an asset.
