Parts Person

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Parts Person/Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for sourcing, managing, and shipping parts, assisting technicians, handling hydraulic hose sales and builds, and maintaining accurate inventory and documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the smooth operation of the warehouse and providing exceptional service to our team and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Technicians with Parts: Support technicians by identifying and sourcing the correct parts for equipment repairs and maintenance, ensuring the right parts are available when needed.

Hydraulic Hose Sales & Building: Handle sales and construction of hydraulic hoses, working with customers and technicians to meet specific requirements for custom-built hoses.

Shipping & Receiving: Receive, inspect, and log incoming parts shipments, ensuring accuracy, quality standards, and are properly recorded.

Inventory Management: Maintain organized and accurate inventory.

Parts Orders & Returns: Process parts orders, returns, warranties, and core exchanges in accordance with vendor policies and procedures.

Parts Research: Research OEM and aftermarket parts availability, lead times, and pricing to ensure timely procurement.

Invoicing & Documentation: Create and manage invoices, shipping documents, and inventory records using internal software systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Stock Monitoring: Monitor stock levels for fast-moving or critical components and reorder parts as necessary to maintain availability.

Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts warehouse, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and accessibility of inventory.

Shipping Tasks: Determine appropriate shipping methods, prepare bills of lading, and oversee the loading/unloading of shipments.

Physical Labor: Lift, move, and sort items as needed to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience as a parts person, heavy duty mechanic, work in parts management, hydraulic hose assembly, or warehouse roles is preferred.

Strong understanding of hydraulic hose assembly and sales.

Knowledge of OEM and aftermarket parts and equipment maintenance.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs regularly.

Experience using inventory management software or similar internal systems.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well within a team and assist with various warehouse tasks as needed.

Ability to work independently and take initiative in managing parts and inventory.

Compensation:

Journeyman - Red Seal: $42-$48/hour

Non Red Seal: Wages will be based on experience.
