As a clinical counsellor, you will work as a member of the Allied Health & Wellness team to provide Indigenous children, youth and families in Yukon communities with clinical counselling and wellness support. This role presents a unique chance to advance your career while enjoying a rewarding experience. You will expand your clinical expertise, develop a deeper understanding of Indigenous community, and work with a team of allied health professionals in a community and child focused service model. If this aligns with your career goals, are passionate about wellness and are a clinical counsellor looking to deepen your experiences, we encourage you to review the complete job description and submit your application.

Position requirements include:

  • Ability to meet the NIHB/Indigenous Services Canada, Jordan’s Principle program eligibility requirements, which includes being registered as a clinical counsellor and be eligible to practice in Yukon. Registration with a professional counselling body in Canada, and be in good professional standing is recommended and may be requested.
  • Pre-employment acceptable RCMP Security Clearance and vulnerable sector search; Valid Class 5 Driver’s license & acceptable driver’s abstract.
  • Travel is a requirement. We are open to the Clinical Counsellor living in a rural Yukon community, travel to other Yukon communities will still be a requirement of the position.
