Winter Tour Guide
Season: Late August 2026 – March 31, 2027
Starting Wage: $25/hour
Guaranteed: Minimum 140 paid hours per month
Epic North Tour Experiences is a Yukon tour operator specializing in small-group adventures. We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and outgoing guide to join our team this winter.
No two days are the same. One day you could be guiding a sightseeing tour, the next hosting guests beneath the Northern Lights at our Aurora Lounge.
Join one of the Yukon's fastest-growing tour companies and help visitors experience Canada's North at its very best.
Responsibilities
- Guiding sightseeing, nature interpretation and driver guided tours
- Airport & hotel meet and greets
- Leading 4–5 Aurora viewing tours per week
- Setting up and closing down the Aurora Lounge
- Occasional snow shovelling and general property duties
- Delivering exceptional customer service to guests from around the world
Requirements
- Valid Class 4 Driver's Licence (essential)
- Previous guiding or customer service experience
- Current First Aid with CPR-C
- Friendly, outgoing and professional
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Comfortable making decisions and solving problems on the go
- Able to work well as part of a team
Spanish speaking is an asset.
Hours & Pay
- Starting wage: $25/hour
- Guaranteed 140 paid hours per month
- Aurora tours typically operate 10:00 pm – 2:00 am, with 6 hours paid for a full evening tour, recognizing the late night nature of the work.
- Additional hours available through daytime tours and operational duties.
