Duties

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash.
• Help with organizing and storing clean dishes and kitchen supplies in designated areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards in food handling.
• Willingness to assist cooks and other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
• A positive attitude with the ability to work well within a team-oriented atmosphere in the hospitality industry.
