Norcope Construction Group is seeking qualified class 1 truck drivers for projects in Whitehorse and throughout the Yukon. This is a full time permanent position working 40-70 hours per week, 8-12 hours per day.
Job Duties :
-Operate the following truck and trailer combinations:
- Tri Axle truck and Pup
- Truck and End Dump
- 7 Axle low beds
-Daily pre and post trip inspections. Defects reported to supervisor.
-routine greasing of equipment.
-Loading of gravel and heavy equipment.
-Filling out E-logs for out of town hauls.
Qualifications:
-Class 1 drivers license with air endorsement
-clean drivers abstract
-previous off highway hauling experience
-physically fit.
-minimally 2 years pervious truck driving experience.
