About the Opportunity

Banyan Gold Corp. is seeking a carpenter/camp maintenance worker to support maintenance and various projects during exploration activities at the AurMac Gold Project. Scheduling is flexible depending on location of the applicant.

What You Will Do

• Build core shacks, boot rooms, etc.
• Execute maintenance and repairs on buildings.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, and minor electrical repairs.
• Assist in various daily tasks around camp (i.e. dump run, water run).
• Execute maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Drive shuttle to and from Whitehorse.
• Maintain roads, clear debris, and handle seasonal tasks.
• Monitor and service power generators, propane levels, and water/sewage systems.
• Follow all safety procedures while on site.

Skills needed

• Class 5 or class 3 licence with clean record.
• Knowledge in carpentry.
• Ability to work with others and as part of a team.
• Knowledge in trucks and heavy equipment mechanic an asset.
• Show initiative and interest in learning new things.
• Local applicants will be considered first.
