Arcrite Northern Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our growing team in Whitehorse. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment.

Position Summary
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This role works closely with management to ensure invoices, payments, payroll information, and financial records are processed accurately and efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable
- Process supplier invoices
- Match purchase orders and packing slips
- Prepare payment runs
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Accounts Receivable
- Prepare customer invoices
- Process payments
- Follow up on outstanding accounts
- Maintain customer account records
- Banking
- Prepare bank deposits
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations
- Payroll
- Payroll preparation and completion
- Maintain employee records
- Process timesheets
- Job Progression Reporting
- o Monthly reporting on all job progress
- Has previous bookkeeping or accounting experience (must)
- Administrative Support
- Filing and maintaining accounting records
- Data entry
- Answering phones and assisting customers when required
- General office administration
- Month-End Support
- Assist with reconciliations
- Prepare reports
- Support year-end accounting processes
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Has strong attention to detail
- Is highly organized
- Can manage multiple priorities
- Has excellent communication skills
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with Sage 50 is considered an asset.
