Speech and Language Pathologist
As a Speech & Language Pathologist, you’ll deliver a full range of services, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, & ongoing support for students with challenges in language, speech, voice, fluency, and swallowing. Your work will directly support skills that shape lifelong outcomes.
This is more than a clinical role—it’s a chance to provide meaningful, culturally responsive care while building relationships beyond the therapy room. What makes this role unique is its context. Services are rooted in a strengths-based, culturally respectful approach that honours local ways of knowing. You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team while travelling to rural Yukon First Nation communities—rarely travelling in isolation.
This opportunity offers a rare blend of professional growth & personal experience. You’ll broaden your clinical practice while gaining valuable insight into Indigenous education & community-based service delivery. Along the way, you’ll experience Yukon’s stunning landscapes & close-knit communities. This is an opportunity not often afforded to those with a sense of adventure.
Hiring preference will be provided to those who identify as Indigenous – please self-identify.
