The opportunity

Dawson City is one of the Yukon’s most distinctive places to live and work. Summer brings a surge of energy, with visitors, festivals, live music, and near-endless daylight under the midnight sun.

As a Server, you help create memorable food and beverage experiences across our Dawson locations, including the Sourdough Saloon, Sluicebox Lounge at the Eldorado, and Midnight Sun. You may work across venues, gaining variety throughout the season. This role is about welcoming guests, providing attentive service, and keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

What does your success look like?

  • Food and beverage orders are taken accurately and delivered with good timing and care.
  • Guests feel welcomed, looked after, and leave wanting to return.
  • Dining and service areas stay clean, organized, and ready for guests.
  • Payments, POS entries, and day-to-day service tasks are handled accurately.
  • Hospitality, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained.

What you bring to the role

  • Restaurant, bar, or hospitality experience is an asset.
  • Friendly, approachable service and a genuine interest in looking after guests.
  • Clear communication and the ability to get orders right the first time.
  • Reliability, good pace, and the ability to stay composed during busy periods.
  • Comfort using a POS system and handling payments accurately.
  • A team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed.

Requirements: Ability to frequently lift up to 20 lbs and perform tasks that require standing, bending, reaching, and carrying throughout the shift.
