Camp Cook breakfast and lunch

H.C. Mining Ltd. is looking for a reliable and hardworking cook to support daily meal service for a remote Yukon placer mining camp of approximately 30-40 people. The successful candidate will cook breakfast and lunches( hot and packed) and assist with cleaning, and ensuring smooth camp operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare hot breakfast and lunches ( hot and packed) daily
• Help with cutting, prepping, and portioning food.
• Kitchen & Camp Cleanliness
• Wash dishes and keep kitchen, dining area, food storage and appliances clean.
• Sweep, mop, sanitize surfaces, and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Help maintain fridges, freezers, pantry inventory, and rotation.
• General Camp Duties
• Unload groceries and organize weekly supply deliveries.
• Maintain safe, organized workspaces.
• refill juice and water jug
• Follow all camp rules and safety procedures.
• Previous kitchen or camp experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable living and working in a remote mining camp.
• Physically able to lift 30–40 lbs.
• Good attitude, dependable, clean, and organized.
• 10-12-hour workdays typical in camp.
• Valid driver’s licence is an asset but not required.
