Position Details

Position: Cook's Assistant Employment: Part-Time Schedule: Sunday to Thursday Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

What You'll Do

Working alongside our Convenience Store Cook, you'll help prepare fresh, high-quality food while ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing ingredients for sandwiches, wraps, salads, pizzas, and hot food items

Washing, cutting, portioning, and organizing ingredients

Assisting with food preparation, assembly, packaging, and labeling

Grocery shopping and purchasing ingredients

Picking up supplies from local vendors

Delivering prepared food products to company locations

Receiving and organizing inventory

Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen

Washing dishes and kitchen equipment

Following all food safety and sanitation standards

We're Looking For Someone Who

Has previous kitchen or food service experience (an asset) Holds (or is willing to obtain) Food Safe Level 1 Certification

Has a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract Is organized, dependable, and is able to work independently

Enjoys working as part of a team

Can lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs)

Takes pride in preparing quality food and maintaining a clean work environment
