Alpine Veterinary Medical Centre is looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our fun and energetic team! Our ideal candidate is a strong team player who is enthusiastic, professional, has excellent people skills and has interest and experience with animals. The successful candidate must be able to work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities/Duties

  1. Perform daily cleaning and autoclaving of surgical instruments and wraps
  2. Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care as needed
  3. Keep clinic environment clean and tidy
  4. Be responsible for and maintain clean laundry
  5. End of day exam room cleaning & stocking
  6. Maintain cleanliness of dog and cat kennels and dog runs
  7. Other duties as assigned

This is a full-time day shift position working 40 hours per week. Our clinic hours are Mon to Fri, 7:30am – 5:00pm with some shift flexibility. We are looking to fill one position.
