Canyon City Construction LP is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead operations across construction and gravel/aggregate business lines. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a high-performing operation while driving growth, strengthening partnerships, and advancing community-based economic development.
Reporting to the CEO of CNLP, you will provide executive-level leadership with full accountability for operational and financial results. You will lead a diverse and skilled team, champion a safety-first culture, and build strong relationships with clients, partners, and community stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO – AT A GLANCE
This summary reflects key areas of responsibility and is not exhaustive.
- Provide overall leadership for construction project delivery and gravel/aggregate operations
- Lead project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to specification
- Oversee operational planning, budgets, and full P&L accountability
- Drive business development, including bids, proposals, and client relationship management
- Establish and monitor operational KPIs, production targets, and cost controls across divisions
- Provide senior leadership on safety, ensuring full compliance with Yukon OH&S legislation
- Recruit, lead, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a strong safety-first culture
- Collaborate with the CEO on strategic planning, capital deployment, and growth initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and community stakeholders
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in the construction industry, including senior leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience managing financial performance and P&L accountability
- Strong operational leadership in construction, civil, or resource-based environments
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain teams
- Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and project delivery frameworks
- Familiarity with Yukon legislation and safety programs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past three years
Preferred:
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Project management certification (PMP, Gold Seal, or equivalent)
- Experience working with Indigenous organizations or development corporations

WORKING CONDITIONS
