The opportunity

We are seeking a Chef to join our restaurant division and lead day-to-day back-of-house execution under the direction of the Executive Chef. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on strong service, consistent standards, and building disciplined, high-performing kitchen teams. Our portfolio includes:
- Belly of the Bison – An upscale, refined dining experience focused on premium ingredients, thoughtful presentation, and a modern interpretation of northern cuisine.
- Gold Pan Saloon – A lively, high-energy restaurant and bar known for its casual atmosphere, comfort-driven menu, and strong connection to local culture and nightlife.
- Carved– A contemporary dining space centered on approachable, well-executed dishes with a focus on quality ingredients and a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Each concept offers a distinct dining experience all grounded in strong hospitality and a connection to the North. Depending on experience and fit, successful candidates may be placed within one of our restaurant concepts where their skills and leadership can have the greatest impact.
What does your success look like?
- Guests consistently receive high-quality, well-presented food worth returning for.
- Kitchen execution is consistent, maintaining standards for quality, timing, and prep.
- Recipes, portioning, plating, and allergen protocols are followed with discipline.
- The team is scheduled, trained, supported, and growing in skill and professionalism.
- Inventory, ordering, and food costs are well managed.
- Front- and back-of-house collaborate effectively for smooth service.
- Food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met.
What you bring to the role
- Culinary experience in a commercial kitchen, with leadership in a chef, sous chef, or senior line role.
- Ability to lead service while maintaining quality, consistency, and pace.
- Experience training and supporting back-of-house staff.
- Strong kitchen organization, including prep, ordering, and station management.
- Solid knowledge of food safety, sanitation, allergens, and compliance.
- Calm, solutions-focused approach with clear communication under pressure.
- Leadership style that builds accountability, consistency, and team trust.
