Cleaner / Janitor – Independent Contractor

It's Our Job Cleaning Services provides residential and commercial cleaning services across Whitehorse, including move in/move out cleans, garbage bins cleaning, post-construction, office janitorial, and property clean outs. We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented contractors to join our roster for ongoing projects.

Role Responsibilities:

- Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in empty residential properties, offices, and common areas

- Move in/move out cleaning: kitchens, bathrooms, floors, baseboards, windows, appliances,

- Property clean outs: Including garbage/compost bin cleaning and pressure washing enclosures

- Follow checklists and meet quality standards for each job

- Communicate with dispatch on job status, photos, and any issues found on site

- Maintain safe work practices and proper use of cleaning equipment/chemicals

Requirements:

- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred

- Must have your own transportation and be able to travel to job sites in Whitehorse

- Ability to lift 25–40 lbs, work on your feet, bend, and kneel

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

- Must supply own basic PPE: gloves, non-slip shoes.

- Contractor must supply own cleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools for all jobs

- Liability insurance preferred.

- Criminal record check may be required for certain sites
