Triple J’s Canna Space is seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist (NOC 14101) for our retail location at 211 Wood Street. As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing friendly guidance and support. You will thrive in a collaborative workplace where cross-training is encouraged, and advancement is possible. Evening and weekend shifts are required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service and guide customers in their cannabis choices
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide administrative support and assist with daily store operations
- Manage accessories inventory, create POs, receive inventory, and ensure stock is organized
- Offer basic IT support, troubleshoot minor technical issues, configure new workstations, install hardware and upgrade software, inventory management, maintenance on computers and printers
- Merchandise products and maintain a professional storefront
- Cross-train with team members in different sales, technician and financial roles
- Remain calm and effective during busy or stressful situations
Qualifications
- Minimum age: 19 years
- Minimum education: High School Diploma
- Valid Yukon BARS-C certification
- Clear criminal record
- Previous experience in retail or cannabis preferred
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Demonstrated experience and/or education equivalent in IT management
- Exceptional administrative skills with proficiency in Excel, Outlook and database management
- Team player attitude
- Knowledge of cannabis products and industry
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Math proficiency for transactions and inventory
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Able to stand for extended periods
