The opportunity

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to supplement your 9-5 income? Do you want to get paid to work out?

This role is all about energy, pace, and first impressions. As Luggage Handler, you help welcome tour guests at one of the busiest moments of their stay, making sure luggage moves quickly, safely, and efficiently between buses and guestrooms.

Working closely with the Sales Manager, General Manager, Front Desk, and other hotel teams, you help keep group arrivals and departures organized and guest-ready. This is a strong fit for someone looking for active, short-shift work that pairs well with another daytime job and offers the satisfaction of being part of a well-run guest experience.

What does your success look like?

  • Tour group arrivals and departures run smoothly, with luggage delivered promptly.
  • Guests experience a strong first and last impression of the hotel.
  • Luggage is tagged, organized, and handled safely, even during high-volume group movements.
  • Guest needs, parcels, and other delivery requests are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Safety standards are followed consistently, including proper lifting and transport practices.

What you bring to the role

  • A reliable, energetic, and positive approach to work.
  • Comfort with physical work, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy items.
  • Ability to work efficiently in short, high-volume periods.
  • Strong teamwork and willingness to support other departments when needed.
  • Good organization and attention to detail when handling multiple bags and guest rooms.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and shifts tied to tour schedules.

Why build your career with us?

This role offers active, flexible work that fits well alongside another daytime schedule. For the right person, it is a chance to earn extra income and stay active! We offer:

  • $ per bag delivery
  • Vacation pay
  • Preferred staff and friends and family rates across our hotel portfolio
  • Employee assistance and wellness program for you and your dependents

Requirements: Ability to move, lift, carry, pull, and place objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and work physically throughout the shift. Flexibility to work early mornings and late evenings based on tour schedules.
