CLS - Professional Land Surveyor
Underhill Geomatics is a progressive land surveying firm with offices in Whitehorse, Fort St. John, Kamloops, Burnaby, and Comox. Operating since 1913, Underhill continues to provide technologically advanced, flexible, and efficient geospatial solutions for all our clients’ needs within Yukon, British Columbia, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
Underhill Geomatics is seeking Canada Land Surveyor in good standing with the ACLS. A BC Land Surveyor Commission in good standing will be considered an asset.
We provide comprehensive geomatics services to clients in Whitehorse and the surrounding areas. Our team has the privilege of partnering with a wide range of valued clients on projects of all sizes, from smallscale assignments to large, complex developments. Our expertise spans multiple survey disciplines, including land development, strata and air space surveys, topographic surveys, First Nations land surveys, engineering and infrastructure surveys, as well as industrial, mining, precision, and monitoring surveys.
Duties include:
• Project management
• Survey calculations
• Team coordination
• Preparing proposals and contracts
• Provide guidance and training to team
• Business development
• Developing plans and reports
• Following and upholding Underhill safety policies
Requirements:
• Canada Land Surveying Commission or other canadian jurisdiction
• Proven experience in managing survey projects
• Effective communications skills, both verbal and written English
• Valid and clean driver’s license required
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
