Adherence to the Yukon Early Learning and Child Care Act and Regulations, including licensing requirements and standards.
Effective communication with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
Implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Regular observation and assessment of children's learning and development, with documentation and reporting.
Collaboration with other staff members to plan and coordinate daily routines, transitions, and special events.
Maintenance of a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment, including indoor and outdoor spaces.
Respect for cultural diversity and individual differences among children and families, incorporating culturally responsive practices into curriculum and interactions.
Positive and supportive interactions with children, fostering independence, confidence, and positive self-esteem.
Respect for confidentiality regarding sensitive information shared by children, families, and colleagues.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of children, families, and the program.

ECE Level 1, 2 or 2
Valid First Aid and CPR-C
