Core Box Builder

CORE BOX YUKON is looking for a Core Box Builder to join our team. We’re a dynamic, multicultural crew known for flexibility and a strong sense of urgency.

Locations of Work: 14 MacDonald Road, Whitehorse, Yukon Territory

Wage: $21.00 per hour.

Start Date: As soos as possible.

Terms of Employment: 40 hours per week, working hours are guaranteed, and continued employment will be based on satisfactory job performance

Job duties and responsibilities include:

• Wearing PPE at all times including eye protection, hearing protection and CSA approved safety footwear at all times in the shop.
• Selection and repair of shipping pallet for core box loading.
• Movement of parts bins in and out of the assembly shop.
• Using pneumatic stapler to assemble core boxes with attention to safety, accuracy and efficient production.
• Stacking, bundling, strapping and labelling pallets of assembler core boxes for shipment
• Movement of completed pallets to the dock for forklift pick-up and yard storage
• Maintaining the staple gun, assembly jig and all other tools in safe operational order
• Cleaning the assembly jig, personal working station and common areas of the shop at the end of the day.
