BARISTA (NOC 65201)

JOB DUTIES – BARISTA (NOC 65201)

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee and espresso-based beverages

• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other beverage equipment

• Steam milk and prepare beverages according to standard recipes

• Take customer orders and process payments using POS system

• Portion, assemble, and serve food items such as baked goods and sandwiches

• Maintain cleanliness of coffee machines and equipment

• Restock supplies including coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and lids

• Maintain inventory and report shortages

• Clean and sanitize work areas, counters, and service equipment

• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures

• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints

• Assist in opening and closing duties of the café
