Spa Attendant

Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs is looking to hire a permanent position. Come and work in a new innovative business like no other in Yukon. As a matter of policy, we always pay better than a living wage. There are lots of possibilities of growing into other future positions on the property.

We are looking for part-time, full time, and seasonal workers.

Duties:

• Working front desk, accepting payments, and serving the public
• Preparing and selling food
• Managing online bookings and payments
• Restocking shelves
• Cleaning and maintaining bathrooms, showers, changerooms, etc
• Opening and closing the business
• Reporting to the Assistant Manager or General Manager
  
• Maintain saunas, steam rooms, and water testing
• Drain, clean, and maintain pools as needed
• Various physical tasks (loading wood, shoveling snow, laundry, watering plants, etc)

Desired Qualities of Applicant:

• Knowledge of any of the following languages: French, German, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Spanish is desired but not required.
• Ability to speak and write English fluently
• Possess First Aid training or be willing to acquire it
• Possess Food Safe training or willing to acquire it
• Possess WHMIS training or willing to acquire it
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently of supervision
• Ability to work well in a team
• Must own a vehicle
• Must know how to swim
• Must be able to stay on feet and walk 15 000+ steps per day
• Availability to work morning, afternoon, or evening shifts
• Availability to work weekends

Scheduling:

• 4 day (10 hour shifts) work week (available after 6 month probation), 5 day work week is also available.
