About Overland Yukon

Overland Yukon is an adventure rental company specializing in Jeep Wranglers with rooftop tents and fully-equipped campervans designed for exploring the Yukon. We focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences through reliable vehicles, local expertise, and thoughtful service that helps travelers feel confident on the road.

Position Overview

We’re hiring a Fleet Manager to oversee the daily logistics, vehicle readiness, and guest experience operations that power our rental season (June to mid-September).

This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines customer service, vehicle preparation, scheduling coordination, cleaning/detailing, and operational problem solving. Workload varies throughout the season: early summer focuses on preparation, organization, and maintaining fleet readiness, while August and early September are fast-paced peak operating periods requiring strong responsiveness, adaptability, and attention to detail.

We’re looking for someone dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day operations. This role offers significant flexibility during quieter periods, but also requires reliability and commitment during peak travel weeks.

Compensation is structured to provide stable income across the season while rewarding strong performance, flexibility, and reliability during peak operations. This role is designed for someone seeking a full-season operational position rather than supplemental casual work.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Prep & Guest Coordination

  • Manage daily pick-up and drop-off schedules to ensure smooth operations
  • Coordinate with guests via email and phone regarding bookings, arrivals, and departures
  • Send scanned rental agreements and trip documents upon check-out
  • Greet guests and provide clear, friendly vehicle orientations (rooftop tents, camper van systems, gear use)
  • Review rental agreements, damage waivers, and trip instructions with customers
  • Share local Yukon travel tips to help guests feel confident and excited for their trip

Vehicle Cleaning & Gear Reset

  • Perform full exterior cleaning (body, tires, rims, undercarriage)
  • Clean interior thoroughly (vacuum, wipe all surfaces, clean windows and high-touch areas)
  • Clean and sanitize all camping gear (stoves, dishes, utensils, etc.)
  • For campervans: reset and sanitize kitchen areas, storage, and living spaces
  • Ensure every vehicle is spotless, organized, and fully stocked for the next guest

Maintenance & Logistics

  • Document mileage, note damages, and flag maintenance needs
  • Coordinate and oversee servicing (tires, oil changes, minor repairs)
  • Move and stage vehicles for pick-ups, drop-offs, and service appointments
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and yard
  • Monitor inventory and restock cleaning supplies and gear as needed

If you’re comfortable with tools or minor repairs, that’s a big plus. We value people who can troubleshoot, problem-solve, and jump in where needed.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

    • Vehicles are consistently clean, stocked, and ready on time
    • Guests feel confident, informed, and excited when they leave
    • Issues are identified early and handled proactively
    • The operation runs smoothly, even during busy periods

    Performance Incentives

You may be eligible for additional compensation through the following three bonus'. All bonus' require active employment up to the end date per an official and signed employment letter.
