Carpenter or apprentice carpenter

Eagle Eye Construction is a residential home construction company based in Whitehorse, Yukon. We specialize in quality home construction and we’re looking to add a motivated individual to our team.

We are seeking a Carpenter, or Apprentice Carpenter, who takes pride in their work, is dependable, and wants to be part of building high-quality homes in the Yukon.

What You’ll Do

- Assist with residential home construction projects from foundation to finish

- Perform framing, exterior finishing, interior finishing, and general carpentry tasks

- Operate hand and power tools safely

- Maintain a clean and organized job site

- Work as part of a small team to complete projects efficiently and professionally

Qualifications

Preferred:

- Apprenticeship training or previous experience in residential construction

- Experience with framing, finishing, or general carpentry

Although an experienced carpenter, or apprentice is preferred, we are willing to train someone who demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

- Must currently reside in the Yukon

- Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable transportation

- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials and performing demanding physical work

- Must be willing, and comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

- Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
