Property Manager
Position Summary
The Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of condominium corporations, residential rental properties, and other real estate assets managed by Rapid Property Management Yukon Inc. (RPM). The Property Manager serves as the primary point of contact for owners, tenants, boards of directors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring properties are maintained professionally, financially sound, and compliant with applicable legislation and bylaws.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of condominium corporations and/or rental properties.
• Respond to owner, tenant, and board inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, inspections, and capital projects.
• Obtain and review contractor quotes and oversee vendor performance.
• Conduct regular property inspections and prepare reports.
• Assist with budget preparation, financial reviews, and reserve fund planning.
• Prepare meeting agendas, board packages, notices, and correspondence.
• Attend board meetings, annual general meetings, and special meetings as required.
• Enforce condominium bylaws, rules, and tenancy agreements.
• Coordinate insurance claims and maintain claim documentation.
• Maintain accurate property records and management files.
• Monitor service contracts and recommend improvements where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with Yukon legislation, condominium documents, and company policies.
Qualifications
• Experience in property management, condominium management, real estate, administration, or a related field.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email systems, and property management software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of condominium operations, building systems, and maintenance practices is considered an asset.
