Norcope is seeking full-time labourers to join our team. This Position would be based in Whitehorse and work with the maintenance Forman and General Superintendent to facilitate the repairs, up keep and maintenance of shop and yard facilities as well as upkeep of heavy equipment.
Job Description
- operate a variety of hand and power tools
- shovel and clear snow from facilities entryways and parking areas
- wash and detail heavy equipment
- service heavy equipment
- Load and unload deliveries
- operate power equipment such as water pumps, generators, ice augers and jackhammers.
- operate skid steers
- assist mechanics in shop up keep and disposal of waste parts and material
Qualifications
- valid class 5 drivers license
- previous construction experience an asset.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- experience operating power equipment and familiarity with routine maintenance and up keep of such equipment.
