Part-time, casual cleaner

Yukon Black Spruce is hiring casual, part-time housekeeper(s).

Duties involve cleaning rental cabins starting at 11AM. Depending on the schedule, the number of cabins to clean can be anywhere from 0 to 4 a day.

This is a great part-time, casual job for someone looking for a bit of extra income.

Each cabin takes between 45 minutes to an hour to clean. Cleaning involves tasks such as: making the bed, wiping down surfaces, doing dishes, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, restocking supplies, washing laundry, and removing garbage and recycling. Duties also include ironing pillowcases and organising supplies as needed.

Yukon Black Spruce prides itself on 5 star reviews, so ensuring the cabins are spotless is the key priority of this job! Attention to detail is a must.

Prospective employees ideally have prior experience cleaning in a hotel setting. Lifting up to 30lb is required. Training is provided.

We pay higher compensation both for a living wage and to ensure our high standards are maintained. We pay a set price for each cabin, and then $30/hr for extra work beyond each cabin clean, such as ironing. We also offer flexibility with the work schedule.
