Job Description/Duties:
- Sweep, mop, clean hallways, floors, and stairs;
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings;
- Vacuum carpeted areas, rugs, mats and upholstered furniture;
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers;
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen, washroom and fixture;
- Handle /report lost and found items;
- Ensure that security and safety measures are in place in the establishment;
- Perform other related general cleaning duties
Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities:
- Fast-paced environment; work under pressure; repetitive tasks; lifting up to 23 kg. loads; physically demanding;
- Attention to detail; combination of sitting, standing, walking; standing for extended periods; bending, crouching, kneeling; tight deadlines
- Work location information: Vary-Commercial or residential building
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary School level
- Experience: At least 6 months experience an asset
- Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg
- Work Setting: Shift hours, 7 days operation as needed
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation or Public transportation
