Yukon Expedition Sleds is looking for a skilled part-time Sewing Technician to help manufacture high-quality Cordura covers and expedition gear in our bright, newly built sewing workspace in Whitehorse, Yukon.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and wants to be part of a growing manufacturing company building premium products designed for extreme northern conditions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Sewing heavy-duty covers and gear using 1000D Cordura
• Operating a new industrial Juki sewing machine
• Following templates and production procedures for consistent quality
• Measuring, cutting, and preparing materials using rotary cutters and adjustable work tables
• Inspecting finished products to ensure clean, durable workmanship
• Maintaining an organized and efficient workspace

• Large bright sewing shop specifically designed for production sewing

• New Juki industrial sewing machine
• Rotary cutters and professional sewing tools
• Product templates and established procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of sewing experience
• Experience with industrial sewing machines preferred
• Ability to sew heavy-duty materials such as Cordura, canvas, or similar fabrics
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality products
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
• Passion for craftsmanship and building durable products
