Parts Advisor

Bumper to Bumper and Checkered Flag Recreation are looking for a reliable and customer focused Parts Advisor to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who interests in automotive and powersports, parts and accessories.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with in person, over the phone, or email/computer inquiries
• Identify and source parts for retail customers and shop mechanics
• Understand receiving and shipping freight
• Maintaining accurate inventory and stock organization
• Processing invoices, handling returns, warranty policies
• Maintaining a well organized, clean and safe work space
• Knowing our product we sell
• Preforming various duties the manger needs

Qualifications

• Previous experience in parts preferred but willing to train the right person
• A background in mechanical knowledge, understanding vehicle and power sports systems/parts
• Understanding customer problems and finding a resolution
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using computer systems and online parts programs
• Comfortable at using point of sale system and register
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
