We are a leading earthworks and civil construction company specializing in large-scale dirt-moving and site remediation projects. Our team takes pride in tackling tough jobs that make a real difference. We are currently seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our project team. This is a great opportunity to be part of meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct precise site surveys to support excavation, grading, and material placement.
  • Establish and maintain survey control for the project site.
  • Perform layout for excavation boundaries, contamination removal areas, and final grades.
  • Provide daily survey data to support operations and project tracking.
  • Maintain accurate records of as-built conditions and progress.
  • Collaborate with project managers, equipment operators, and environmental specialists to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Operate survey equipment and related software.
  • Support quality control by verifying excavation depths and material placement.



Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a surveyor on earthworks or civil construction projects.
  • Proficiency with survey equipment (GNSS/GPS, Total Station, data collectors) and software (Trimble, Leica, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of earthworks processes and site safety requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret project drawings and plans.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to work in remote site conditions.
  • Safety tickets (e.g., First Aid, CSTS, WHMIS) an asset.
