Normandy Living | Whitehorse | Permanent, Full-Time |$20.00 per hour

The Opportunity

A Housekeeper in a senior living community performs routine cleaning and sanitation tasks in resident suites, common areas, offices, and restrooms. Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, changing linens, resident laundry, emptying trash, disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies. Housekeepers help ensure the environment meets health, safety, and infection-control standards.

In addition to cleaning duties, housekeepers interact respectfully and courteously with residents, often building positive relationships and contributing to residents’ comfort and quality of life. They must demonstrate patience, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Resident suites and common areas are clean, safe, and welcoming
• Housekeeping work is organized, steady, and completed reliably
• Team members receive support, guidance, and day-to-day direction
• Inventory is managed well and supplies are kept ready
• Issues affecting quality, safety, or resident comfort are identified early
• Residents and colleagues experience you as helpful, respectful, and dependable
