Exploration Geologist
Coffee Gold Project, Yukon
Talamore Mining is a Vancouver-based exploration and development company focused on advancing high-quality gold projects in Canada. Our flagship asset is the 100%-owned Coffee Gold Project in the Yukon, a well-advanced gold project progressing through exploration, permitting, engineering, and early works planning toward a construction decision. As Fuerte continues to advance the Coffee Gold Project, we are seeking an Exploration Geologist to support field-based exploration activities through safe, disciplined, and high-quality geological execution. This role is site-based, rotational, and reports to the Exploration Manager. The position plays a key role in ensuring exploration data is collected accurately and consistently to support technical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute drill core and chip logging to Company standards, including lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structure
- Support drilling operations through collar staking, drill pad inspections, rig line-ups, downhole surveys, and drill site supervision
- Ensure accurate sample handling, labelling, and tracking
- Maintain detailed geological records, logs, and databases
- Assist with daily, weekly, and program summary reporting
- Conduct fieldwork in compliance with Company health, safety, and environmental standards
- Participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments, and daily planning activities
- Identify and escalate safety, data quality, or operational issues as required
Qualifications
- Minimum of a B.Sc. in Geology or Earth Sciences, or current enrollment in a related degree program
- 1–5 years of mineral exploration experience, preferably in Canada
- Eligibility for, or registration as, a Geoscientist in Training (G.I.T.)
- Experience working in remote or northern environments preferred
- Familiarity with gold exploration and drilling programs is considered an asset
- Willingness to work rotational schedules at the site

Work Location
This is a contract position based at the Coffee Project, with a rotating 2-weeks on / 2-weeks off schedule.
