The Museum Visitor Experience Coordinator is responsible for creating engaging, inclusive, and accessible visitor experiences both onsite and online over the summer season at the Dawson City Museum & Archives.

The position runs 12-16 weeks (based on candidate's availability) between May/June to August.

Duties of this position include:

  • leading and enhancing programs for visitors including guided tours, demonstrations, and A/V presentations;
  • managing the Museum’s social media platforms and website;
  • creating and executing a visitor survey onsite and online;
  • collecting and analyzing visitor data onsite and online;
  • designing and piloting a new accessible visitor experience;
  • assisting with special events during regular working hours;
  • other reasonable duties as required.

Training will be provided.

The position requires long periods of standing and sitting, negotiating stairs, and some lifting (under 30lbs).

The candidate must be between the ages of 15 and 30, and legally entitled to work in Canada.
