Detailing Manager

Role overview

The Detailing manager will be in charge of overseeing all vehicle cleaning & detailing operations, ensuring vehicles are prepared to company tandards in a timely & efficient manner. This role involves managing washbay staff,maintaining quality control, and ensuring smooth day to day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise & coordinate daily activities of washbay staff
  
• Ensure all vehicles meet company cleanliness & presentation standards before delivery
• Create and manage staff schedules based on workload and reservations
• Train new staff on detailing procedures and safety standards
• Monitor productivity & turn-around times are met
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies & place orders when needed
• Inspect completed vehicles & address any quality issues immediately
• Maintain cleanliness & organization of the wash bay area
• coordinate with the operations team regarding priority vehicles

Requirements

• 2-5 years vehicle detailing & automotive cleaning
• Experience in supervising or leading a small team preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication & organizational skills
• Physically able to stand for long periods & perform manual work
• Driving experience with a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving history
• Flexibility to work on weekends as needed
