Underhill Geomatics is seeking a Survey Tech in Whitehorse region.

We provide Geomatics services to our clients in Whitehorse and the surrounding regions. We work with many great clients on both large and small scales. We work with a variety of survey types including land development, strata and air space projects, topographic surveys, First Nations land surveys, engineering and infrastructure surveys, industrial, mining, precision and monitoring surveys.

Duties include:
• Performing Topographic, layout, and as-built surveys
• Performing control and high-precision surveys
• Utitilizing Trimble GNSS, RoboƟc Total Stations, and 3D scanners for precise field measurements and data collection
• Conducting RPAS (UAV/drone) surveys, bathymetric surveys, and automated total station work with Project Managers
• Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data collection and processing

Requirements:

• A team player with excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience with Trimble GNSS, Robotic Total Station, and 3D scanning is an asset but not required
• Advanced RPAS License, or ability to obtain, assistance provided.
• Familiarity with TBC, Starnet, Civil 3D is an asset but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in the field
